START WITH MY MINIMAL KIT (THEN GO BASIC & ADVANCED)

Here's the way I would go about building up a kit if you aren't rich yet want to follow the "Always shoot with 2 cameras" method. The point is to get a 2nd camera going (even if it's a GoPro at first)!

I don't think anybody will understand this tip (without explanation) as it's based on my Q-P-A-C-E kit plan and packing methodology (Quality, Portable, Affordable, Common, Easy-to-use). It has 3 kit "levels" (Minimal, Basic, Advanced) and it's all about getting gear that can produce great quality while still being...all the rest of those things. It's kind of an ideal approach, but I think I've figured it out for the exact set of gear I put on my KIT page (on my website). Go there for additional info (and I think you can make the same concept work with different gear too)!
